Most tree companies won't put a number on a website. We will. These are real ranges for this part of Missouri, based on size, access and what's underneath the tree. A pin oak leaning over a garage costs more than the same tree in an open pasture, and you deserve to know that before someone is standing in your driveway.

Three things move a price more than anything else: how close the tree is to a structure, whether a truck can get to it, and whether you want the wood hauled off or left split in the yard. Mention all three when you write and the first number we give you will be close to the real one.

Emerald ash borer has killed a great deal of the ash out here. Dead ash gets brittle fast and becomes genuinely dangerous to take down. If you've got one standing, don't wait another season.

For a tree on private property, generally no in most towns out here. Trees in the right-of-way — the strip between the sidewalk and the street — are usually a different matter and may be the city's responsibility or require approval. Rules vary town to town, so check with your city hall before you cut anything near the street.
Your choice, and it changes the price. We can haul everything, leave the trunk cut to firewood length, or chip the brush and leave the chips for mulch. Plenty of people out on acreage want the wood.
Non-urgent work is usually within a week or two. Emergencies get moved to the front. After a big wind or ice event the whole area gets slammed at once, so get your request in early rather than waiting to see if the limb settles.
Yes, with general liability covering tree operations, and we'll send you the certificate before we start. Ask every company you call for this. Tree work goes wrong in expensive ways, and if an uninsured crew drops a limb through your roof it becomes your problem.
